**************Well, I would say that it's pretty official, the two of us are officially taking down our Night Camp. Our Night Camp or Night Station is what we used in the living room when Kaylena would wake up in the middle of the night/early morning for a diaper change and feeding. Although she's been sleeping till at least 5:30am, 5:30 is a tad early to turn on the light in our bedroom to see what you're changing...so we left Night Camp up. Because she has been our 5:30 wake-up call, we haven't set an alarm....... until today. Yesterday morning we wake up in the 'uh oh, what time is it?!' panic to find out that it was 7:15....yeeeeeeeah, although late, Jason made pretty good time to his 7:30 meeting. After we realized what time it was though, the questioning began, 'did you get up with her?' 'no, did you?' 'no, are you sure she wasn't crying or something?' So, we both got up to get ready since Jason had his meeting, as previously stated, and I would have to get ready before she woke up so I would have time to take care of her!
*****************All that leads to, she slept again last night, so hopefully she'll keep it up. I'm not sure why some babies sleep and other's don't.... although my friend I work with said that her daughter slept 10-12hrs a night right off the bat! crazy eh?! hahahaha.......we're happy with Kaylena. Our next change is to move her out of OUR room. I've heard some say that 2 weeks is a good time, others that say they should sleep with you or at least in the same room until 2 years and anything else is INHUMANE. (seriously). Last I checked, inhumane means something that you wouldn't imagine doing to Humans......... maybe she lives in a one room house? Nonetheless, 2 months and a few days seems alright for Kaylena.
******************Maybe we won't quite abandon Night Camp yet, we'll just break it down... just in case.
