Rollin' like thunder

Soo....I put our 3-week old down on his belly for tummy time at a couple weeks ago (making him one week) ... and off he goes!

He does it pretty consistantly which I find entertaining.  He either rolls or scoots.  And yes I've investigated, his older sister is NOT involved.

We've also been investigating fun and wholesome recreational activities to do as a family.  On Friday night it was a spur-of-the moment game of bowling.  Luckily, Joseph stayed sleeping and Kaylena "played" all of the games in the arcade.

Jay vs. Ista. :)

Then, Saturday as I was walking out the door to go to a baby shower, the suggestion was made that we go and partake in the NBA Thunder Conference Finals Atmosphere downtown.

After a fun baby shower and awesome 'post' shower hangout (hehehe), I came home to everyone still surviving and thundered up!!  So, off we went to....THUNDER ALLEY!

We missed taking a picture of the Thunder Drumline, but that's where they WERE set up.  One of the drummers even offered Kaylena his drumstick to have her play.  She wouldn't have any part of it, but I know that Jason wanted to get up there and rock out!

It was actually pretty fun to just walk around, see all the 'pre-game' people, watch a bit of the game on the ginormous television they have, then take the nice stroll back to the municiple building where we parked the truck.  We actually ended up just hanging out in that area across from the Museum of Art because they were having a rooftop party with some awesome music.  Which of course, there was no way we could pass up real grass, a cool breeze, and rockin' music.

So there you have it.  Our weeks of rock n' rollin' n' thunderin' :)
