Our Fridays now include an additional 4-year old who's mom just had triplets.  Bah! Bah! and Bah!  I can't even imagine....so I borrow her son for a day and hope that helps :)  At any rate, this was before he came, Kaylena wanted to have a hot chocolate party.  This is the first time that Joseph has been invited, and he was the purple set.  I think he's definitely into it.  Speaking of definitely into it, that is Kaylena's attitude when it comes to dressing herself and her style.  Whatever works. :)

Friday night was also "kids hang out with the grandparents" night so Jason and I went to the temple.  I'm pretty sure we missed December....so it was definitely overdue.  My parents survived, and by the time we left, Kaylena had actually fallen asleep in my sister's bed- with her- and Joseph was a very full sleeping baby.  Yay!  Not quite a smooth transition home, but that's fine too.

Today was a workshop for Jason- which turned into canceling that so he could figure out his practicum stuff with another classmate this morning- while I was off at a Relief Society Workshop on Visiting Teaching.  I am officially re-dedicated and super excited because now I have a companion!!

After that, we swung by and picked up Jason, lunch, and headed downtown to play at the new park and then hit a movie.  The park was SOO FUN!  As pictured here, they had 4 tubes attached from the top of this mound that you could slide down.  Jason and I loved sliding down, Kaylena thought it was tons of fun, and I'm sure Joseph was entertained by the small rock-looking floor.  It was fun to explore a very non-traditional playground for an hour and a half before we stopped into the movie "We Bought A Zoo."  It was a really cute movie- but we were defintely suprised by the amount of cursing.  I was so sad that it was  PG movie, and there was 5+ times that cursing was used.  The storyline was sweet and it had just enough of fun, innocent humor, that we chuckled out loud quite a few times.  After the movie lead us to a good discussion though about how Kaylena is old enough to know what's going on now.  So, although our movie limit was generally PG, it's looking like that isn't too safe for a 3yo either, unless prescreened.  :(  So sad, so sad.

Today was a lot of fun, and it was just so nice to have a family fun day!!  I'd say it was so good, that it statisfies my accumulating desire of a minivacation.
