This was our activity from yesterday that Kaylena just LOVED to look at all day today. :)  It's her shadowbox Desert.  yay for the letter D!  There are little animals that I cut out and then she glued them in/on, then a cactus picture that SHE cut out (and then I taped part of it back together again), and then she glued in the box, then there is the sun.  I think this was her favorite part to poke pipe cleaners into a styrofoam ball that I covered in red tissue paper.  I'm definitely going to keep that in mind for future activities!  I'm also going to keep in mind that tomorrow morning I need to clean that mirror.....

Today was a fun day to do errands, and playgroup at the church- which consisted pretty much of just running around, and then an after playdate at McDs for additional running around.  All that running around paid off and the kiddos fell asleep soon after we got home.  While they were sleeping and after I got the kitchen cleaned, I found a receipe for puff paint (but I mixed it all in a bag then cut the corner instead of dirtying even more dishes in my recently cleaned kitchen) AND....got everything set up for Kaylena when she woke up including an afternoon snack!! Ahh.....they really should coordinate naps more often.  Well, the puff paint didn't go over very well, maybe next time I'll cut the hole smaller in the bag, or use a stick to smear it instead of her fingers.  It was a different texture, so something to get used to.

I think Jason is doing well, tonight is his class that doesn't get out until 8:30, so it's a loooong day for him.  Luckily tomorrow is FRIDAY though!!!!
