A bit of a catch-up:

all is well

kaylena helped me make cinnamon oatmeal for breakfast this morning.

we all ate it, including Joseph

I left the last two bites of the bowl for Joseph to feed himself while I did Kaylena's hair.

I came back to a rashy looking baby- as shown in the photo.


He also had it on his eyebrow under a splotch of oatmeal, which lead me to believe that it had more to do with the oatmeal ON the skin, than IN the belly....
Which lead me to a quick "bing" search to discover that yes, cinnamon is a "spicy" food that can cause a contact reaction on some babies.

Our lil' joseph was back to his normal skin condition in less than an hour.

Good thing too!  Cause we had my dad's 14th birthday party to go to!!  Happy birthday Dad!  Awww....soooo cute. :)
