Our last drive on I-40 crosstown Westbound...

Sunday they'll convert over to the new highway, and then begin the transitioning of the old I-40 to a boulevard.

The kids and I had an active day with my sister's final road trip for her mission's zone conferences.  Today was down to Lawton.

1. Luckily it did NOT rain while we were down there.
2.  We found the neat pizza shop we had looked up beforehand AND gotten a coupon for......but unfortunately it was a *take- n- go* place so.... we took it to eat while the Truck got an oil change.
3.  Which didn't take as long either because we pulled into a place that did it WHILE you were in the car.  An AMAZING concept that I loved.
4.   Except for the fact that that left us with still many hours to occupy while my sister was still busy.
5.   So we found a K-Mart and I experienced the K-Mart thing..... which wasn't really that impressive, but it had a diaper changing table and bathroom stalls for Kaylena.... which we hadn't seen all morning.....
6. After much frustration nearing the end of our K-Mart trip and $1.50 spent on clearance valentine's day candy and a bath comb (aka: something for Joseph to chew on)... we read a few books in the truck, the quiet rule was enforced, and nap time began.
7.  Which always makes the rest of the day go MUCH better. :)  Soon, we were back in the church parking lot, coloring, singing, jumping, and waiting for "aunt des" to come out.
8.  Which she did.  And we drove to her home.  Then ate/ baths.  Then our home.  And now...it's schoolwork time!  Happy weekend....lol
