Today was one of those mornings where Kaylena woke up cranky.  Weird, but it was short lived because today was a "dance party" playgroup at the church.  She loved groovin to the music when everyone was doing it, but when it came time for solos, she wouldn't have ANYTHING to do with it.  She had run up on the stage because it was her turn, but once we got some music on, she just stood there and got shy-er and shy-er and kept scooting back to the corner of the stage.  I tried getting up there with Joseph, thinking that would help, but she wouldn't come out from behind the curtains then....so Joseph hammed it up and then shortly after a couple other kids had done their solos, Kaylena had warmed back up to people and did a group dance at the end.  It was fun- and the kids were exhausted by the time we got home.  No naps though, so maybe they weren't exhausted just over stimulated.  We did some books and puzzles and cleaning and watercolors this afternoon- it seemed to go pretty well and the kids were well asleep by the time Jason got home from class around 9:00.  We worked a couple hours on his paper and now it's off to bed!! ahhH!!!!
