This morning we took Joseph to the Dr. to check out his foot and to see about his temperature.  It was about 102 by the time we got there with nothing in his system, so now we're on the ibuprofen, tylenol rotation. :)
As far as his foot goes, I assumed that he got bit by something (ants maybe) from when we went to the park on Monday.  I didn't see the bites until Tuesday, but by Tuesday night they were kind of running together and looked weird.
So...Dr. Wilbur wasn't in the office so we saw Dr. McGann because he's who the office reccommended as having the most similar personality/diagnosing type as Dr. Wilbur.  When I showed him the things on Joseph's foot and explained what I thought it could be, along with my tendency to swell up on bites, he still wasn't sure what it was and called in Dr. Dean because "he'd never seen anything like it and wanted to get a second opinion about if it was an infection"  Blargh!!
Anyway, Dr. Dean came in and she took a look at him and was quite friendly but said that he definitely should be put on antibiotics to make sure it wasn't an infection and to have a culture taken.  Well...it was that moment that I realized that Jason and I would probably do some switching because well, let's face it... unless it's a pee-in-a-cup type of culture, or throat swab culture (which Dr. McGann did), you can count me out!
So, Dr.Dean left, Dr. McGann started explaining what would needed to be done- the details which are probably only gruesome to me and therefore will not type them- and when she asked if she needed to use a needle, his response was "Yes, the big one." If I wasn't half way out the door already, I probably would have laughed out loud.  hehehehe
So, I let them know we'd be doing a switch, so Jason came back with Joseph and I sat in the lobby with Kaylena watching a movie. :)
Tonight we went to Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill- in honor of that's what my parent's do anytime someone comes into town to give them a warm Oklahoma welcome!  It was a great time with *Miss* Willie and of course the food was yummy!  Kaylena's not pictured because well, she didn't want to be in it. :)

We were so full after eating, that we decided to head over to Bass Pro Shops to walk around for a bit.  When we got there though, the Bricktown Trolley was out front and it's FREE to ride!  Ummm....hello!!! So needless to say, we promised Kaylena we'd come back to see the fish and we hopped on.  I say 'hopped on' but it was more of a Jason and Joseph hopped on, then Kaylena did the whole "What about Bob" routine from the part of the movie where he spends all day trying to get on the bus. lol.  I didn't let her try to overthink it too much, but just picked her up and showed her the windows.  The driver was super nice and asked if she wanted to pull the bell, but I quickly declined so that she could focus on getting used to the new environment.  Luckily she handled it fairly well and once she realized we were moving and she could see everything!  She loosened up quite a bit.  I caught a picture of her signing that she saw a Helicopter. :)

After we got done with the trolley, we did come back to Bass Pro to look around and at the fish.  The kids has a good time and as we were coming out, Kaylena jumped on the rock and said, "mama! take picture!" so of course we added Joseph, and it turned out to be one of the cutest pictures of the town of them in quite a while.  Tonight Joseph was in a much better mood, so hopefully he's on the mend!
