This week has been crazy busy!!  Nonetheless, we've had plenty of time to cool off in our pool. :)

Joseph and Kaylena are being extra nice to each other lately.  Kaylena got a bowl of cereal, but since we were out of milk she put water in it, got two spoons, set up the pillows and the two of them sat around and ate it.

Then, the other day, Kaylena was giving Joseph a horsey ride, but I think they just ended up playing more than "horsing" and it was cute.

...and finally, the most recent form of entertainment.  "The Leash!"  I know, I know, "how dare you put your kids on a leash, they're not animals!!" well, that's true, but it also helped my sanity with Kaylena and I think we're almost to that point with Joseph.  Where he won't say in the cart, but he also wants to be down walking around.  Anyways, we did a MAJOR house cleaning these past couple of weeks and yet I decided to keep the monkeypack leash.  I wore it for a while and had Kaylena hold the tail, then we all took turns.  Quite the entertainment!!

Tonight I had an OKRID 2013 Conference Planning Committee Meeting, then I came home and got Kaylena so we could go to a baby shower for one of my friends who is Deaf.  She did pretty well, but since it didn't start till 7:00, once she ate cake at 8:00 we left shortly after to avoid the "sugar dump and psycho child" phase.

So, day 2 of Garage Sale tomorrow, then off to a Ball Game tomorrow night!

Hello from cooooool california,

Is the backyard pool what is considered "downsizing" - looks like great fun. I really love the monkey leash - years ago it was the latest craze and most intelligent mom's found it calming to your mind as well as the little one wearing the leash - they knew exactly how far they could go.

Hope your garage sale was a whopper success.

Love GGMa
