This week has been quite the interesting preparation week!  Joseph's foot is getting better (yay!) So I think he'll live without any permanent scarring or losing of the foot.  It might have just been bites, or who knows what it was/is.  He's still on antibiotics though and it is getting better, so that's always good.  I was telling my mom that I kind of wished I had taken pictures of it to see the progression, but I hadn't just because I was afraid that I'd randomly come across them and get grossed out.  Oh well, maybe next time.

We also started the process of moving out of our kitchen so that it can be labeled the offical work zone for our new cabinets.  They come on Monday, but we have yet to decide when exactly we'll put them in.  Not any sooner than we get the old ones out.

And today we had dentist appointments and Kaylena had her first one!  Last time they just counted her teeth, but this time was the official one.  I let her come in with me to watch me get my teeth cleaned and get to know Stacie.  Then she was okay with going up in the chair, then all of a sudden she wasn't.  I was afraid that that would have been the end of it, but she was very brave and changed her mind again and jumped back into my lap.  Stacie was really good about telling her how she was counting her teeth, then letting her pick the toothpaste flavor, then letting her hold the suction straw thingy- which she loved- and then showing her how to swish with the water and suction it out.  And as a reward....she got a goodie bag!  Complete with a sugar-free sucker, stickers, toothbruch, activity book, gum, and a bouncy ball.  When we went out to switch to let Jason go in while I stayed with the kids, Kaylena was super nice and while she didn't let Joseph have her sucker, she did give him the ball to play with. :) Such sweet kiddos.

Hi

Thank goodness for dentists that know how to entertain little ones in the dentist chair - I personally like the dentist offices that have murals of Hawaii on the walls and little tv monitors and ask you which movie you would like to watch - my favorite is Finding Nemo - very soothing when you are a litle edgy.
