so, one of the songs we added tonight is called "The Heat is On".... most of the songs we put on our playlist have a story behind them, so they are mostly for our inside entertainment, but, we HAD to share the story connected with this one.... "The Heat is On" was my (Calista's) favorite song in about 7th grade. Yes, I know it came out in the 80's; No, I don't know who sang it; but it was my favorite song.... so much so that in English class when we had the assignment to bring our favorite song for the class to listen to and evaluate, this is the one I brought....cool right? Well, now it might be, but I guess the 80's was too close to the 90's when I was in Middle School and since it wasn't Brittany Spears, it got labeled "a moldy oldie".... man, THAT must have been what held me back from my popularity....not the picture below of course.... :) .jpg)
And now, below is Jason leaving on his mission to Veracruz, Mexico!!!!!!! AND, below that is who he didn't even know was waiting for him. I didn't know either.....but look at that pic of the 9th grader he couldla shown is comps!!

And now it's my (Jason's) turn. This was one of my finest moments in High School. Look at that hair...my thoughts, "okay, I'm here." Taken about the same year as Calista's above....95/96ish?

Ahhh, the Calista that will always be in my memory. I never thought I would get used to you not wearing glasses. I was such a rotten, mean kid...to laugh at you histerically when you took your glasses off. You are so beautiful! Jason's not too bad himself;)
haha that's true, though I do remember laughing at me with them on too... we were both 4eyes! :) and look, we turned out alright!!! Sheesh, kids these days..... can't take being called 4eyes..
Awwwwwwwwwwww.........we laughed SO hard when we read this blog~Destiny had to show it to me immediately !! I knew what picture you were going to put up before finishing the sentence and Destiny showing me !!
Some of the MOST successful people in this world were the biggest NERDS~or MAYNARD'S in school !!
