Well, the Choate Family Reunion was quite successful! We had all 66 people there, and 1 table to represent Elder Choate who's in Idaho. The opening night was a Luau and it was an awesomely colorful way to see everyone that we hadn't seen in a while!
This was our last-minute family picture after all the festivities were over and MOST of the cleanup was done. We look pretty good for having just luau-ed for 4 hours!
This next picture was actually taken before the reunion, but I thought I'd post it to compare to the previous picture, as the two men of the family have similar expressions in each. :)
Our lil' ones are growing to be not so little. Kaylena has successfully remained potty trained for 2 weeks, so I feel I can now consider her officially a big girl potty user! Yay for no more buying diapers....her size. :) lol.
And our Joseph is growing to be the big and smily boy. He has definitely increased his interactions with people and is definitely showing preferences now. It's cute to see how he ADORES his older sister. He's also growing those cute chubby leg rolls that we know and love to accompany his 15lb weight class.
Jason and I are both getting ready for his school to start and will soon sit down to plan our road trips for this upcoming year as we did NOTHING this year. Well, I mean, we had a baby.... :)
