Probably our last walking day before the bout of cold rolls in.  It's January right?  It definitely felt that way tonight with the classic North wind knocking over neighbor's trashcans.

Joseph and Kaylena played amazingly well today.  They just kept playing together and playing together and playing together- all morning.  It was a lot of fun to join them, then listen to them as I worked in the kitchen.  I've been working on preparing meals and freezing them to make it easier for the upcoming weeks.  I start working nights next week (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday) and we thought that Jason started class on Thursday night next week as well, but turns out his first night of class is tomorrow!  *oops*  Good thing we got THAT message today...  I'm pretty anxious for the semester to start, theoretically this should work out really well.  I can be home all day with the kiddos, then we have an hour and half nanny for MTW until Jason gets home around 5, then he's with them in the evening.

I'm preparing easy meals that I can throw in the crockpot for them for dinner, or a casserole that can be put in the oven and baked for 20minutes.  Hopefully that will make it easier to get a routine down and into their own evening groove.  Kaylena  and I also made a photo chart with pictures of the activities that are done after dinner and before bed, which will help keep everyone on task and remind Kaylena that just because it's Daddy, we still do the same things, possibly just in another order.

It will be a crazy semester, but I think if everything's in place- including our priorities- then I have faith it'll work out just fine.
