Happy FIRST Birthday to our second child, our eldest son, and our fun baby.  Our big celebration isn't until May 5th, and we didn't have much planned, but I think that today was a fun day for him.  Our little Joseph loves balls, cars, trucks, dolls (mainly kissing/drooling them), dancing, books, laughing, animals, birds, and being outside.  He is definitely a momma's boy, but daddy's a close second.  He's always concerned about where and what his older sister is doing and how she feels.  He eats everything and loves to feed himself- we rarely get him to eat anything if we're the ones holding the spoon.  He's very independent, but loves to come back for a 'check-in hug' and then go back to what he was doing.  He's so cute a cuddly and happy and when we're out is either getting compliments about what beautiful eyes he has, or getting us discounts on our food because "he's just such a cute and happy baby!" (true story). :)

Thank you Joseph for coming here to our family on earth, and thank you for your determination and compassion at such a young age.  We LOVE you!! *Muah!*
