We're still struggling really hard with naptime.  My refocusing involves getting her to just lay down for a bit- but even that sometimes leads to "just stay in your room" and that will work.  Today Joseph actually took a real hour and a half nap (WOW!) so I had these worms and sour rings that I had set aside for her to make some letter "P"'s with.  So after the instructions of "use these to make the letter P" she set at it.  It's so interesting sometimes to see how her mind works.  When I initially set them all out, I counted out 4 of each, so she could make 4 "P's".  But then she lined them all up and made one big one- hey, that works too. :)  It's sweet to see that she knows exactly what she's doing when she does something, even if it's not what we expected....hense the lack of nap thing.  She doesn't look tired at all does she?  (yeeeah right...hehe)  Luckily, they both stayed awake and for the most part happy until after baths and a quick trip around the block in the truck.  Jason's gone camping tonight with the Boy Scouts and knowing how exhausted Kaylena was, I took the easy way out and used the truck to do bedtime for me.
