We've been trying to do little activities when Joseph goes down before Kaylena has her quiet time.  Today we made cookies.  Well, we used a box mix- is that considered scratch now-a-days?  It was a lot of fun and I don't even think Jason knows we made them (as they are hiding....).

Speaking of my loving husband, I had planned to go with him to Stake Conference tonight and had even set up a babysitter for tonight (with plans that we'd go out after the meeting as well).  Unfortunately, around 5:00 I got a call that they weren't even going to be back until around 7:30.  So the kids and I went to get the sitter, brought her back, and I went on  a single date to Conference.  It was an AMAZING meeting though, and my Dad was there, so I sat with him (yay!!!).

I had left a note at home for Jason when he got home, to shower up and take our Harkins Gift Card to get "Mirror, Mirror" movie tickets and I'd plan to meet him there after the meeting.  Well, that didn't work out either.  Jason called when he got down there and said there was seriously NO WHERE to park- because the Thunder are playing tonight so....I had him meet me down at Crossroads AMC- to which the show didn't start till 10:30...way past my bedtime, so we choose a late night appetizer at Texas Roadhouse.  The appetizer was pretty good, our server was super nice and it was fun to go out just the two of us, but oooohhh those ROLLS with that cinnamon butter....ooooooh I seriously at 4 rolls, then asked our waitress to bring some extra for us to take home with our leftover appetizer (because I had eaten rolls and Jason was munching on the peanuts).  Ooooh those rolls......what a great night!
